Forgive me for creating such an odd topic, but for some reason I find myself interested in this weird eye symbol from Zelda games. Symbols like this in games are somewhat interesting and I am wondering about this one. I am also trying to find a good picture of it. The only one I have came from the newest Zelda trailer, on the back or the woman's cloak.

I remember this from other Zelda games, but cant remember exactly where.

So yeah, any other pictures would be nice. Thanks.

It's used on the Mask of Truth in OOT and Majora's Mask, which allows you to communicate with the Gossip Stones in OOT and MM which also bare the symbol.

Also, take away the eye shape and you have the Lense of truth. Most likely seen all over Zelda, but those are some main places.

From a website - "The Symbol is the symbol of the Sheika, who serve as the guardians of Hyrule's Royal Family"

Impa, Princess Zelda's Nursemaid from OOT, is the last of the Sheika.

Also, The Cloak in the Twilight Princess trailer is "a traditional Japanese Funeral Gown / Cloak" and it's being worn by Princess Zelda who is mourning over the darkness spreading over Hyrule.

That eye also appears in the Minish cap, but it has sinister implications there. It is on many of the walls in the dark castle and Vaati (the big bad guy) takes the form of that eye in his second incarnation. Eyes show up all over in the battles with Vaati actually, but he does take that specific form at one point.

I remember something now. I am pretty sure it was on the ground before one of the entrances to Hyrule castle in the original Link to the Past.

An other examples of this symbol would be nice. Thanks.
