I just got off my lazy butt and went over to Game Crazy. I bought Golden Eye and it's... well, lets just say it'll keep me busy for a half a day. The problem is the stupid screen. I can't get comfortable with this stupid controls. I'm trying to use the screen as a second joy stick, but the stupid DS strap doesnt help. I tried using my thumb and its hard as hell to control. I tried putting plastic on my finger and I can't get the screen to control good. Any advice?

i use the direction pad and the 4 buttons so give that a try

I have two PSPs one for homebrew/emulators and one for games and it didn't help me control my DS.

Ha ha ha! Oh gosh that's funny! That's really funny! Do you write your own material? Do you? Because that is so fresh. Buy a PSP. You know, I've, I've never heard anyone make that joke before. Hmm. You're the first. I've never heard anyone reference, reference that on a message board in response to a DS post before. Because that's what the competition handheld is isn't it? a PSP?. And, and yet you've taken that and used it out of context to insult me in this everyday situation. God what a clever, smart girl you must be, to come up with a joke like that all by yourself. That's so fresh too. Any, any American Idol jokes you want to throw at me too as long as we're hitting these phenomena at the height of their popularity. God you're so funny!
I think I'm gonna cut and paste that to every MORON who thinks he's funny with an opposition-based-console-reply like this.

I just got goldeneye too. The only luck I have had controlling it was to go to the options menu and turn down the sensitivity on the touch screen. This will help stop the screen from jumping around. Then I use my index finger on the touch screen and push the R button with my pinkey. Kinda uncomfortable but it works for me.

I heard Rouge agent hade a good amount control options, If you've played the Metroid Demo and were able to use it, you should find a similar mode with 007 and feel right at home. The tub-strap is your best bet, so get playing and if that doesnt work - trying cleaning your touch screen ??

With Mario 64 DS, I tried the touch scrren controll, but I found it way easier (and more comfortable) to use the d-pad, and the buttons, one of the alternate control modes. It took a little getting used to, but once I got the hang of it, it worked pretty good. Patience, I guess.
