A few weeks ago, I found a back for the GBC I have. When I purchased it for $4.00 some weeks ago, it had the usual Tape and Cardboard back.

I found it by chance at the local Radio Shack. Even the employees did not know it was there; I just checked hoping to get lucky. But there, at the bottom right, it was, for $1.97- a proper back for it. It was clear.

Just last week, at another second-hand store, they had, under the counter, one of those "worm lights," again for the GBC. I got it for $1.00. It took a bit of work, but- it works well enough.
What's more, it was purple!

If you own a GBC, this thing is something you really should have. While it does not equal the backlight ability of the GBA SP, once you get the hang of it, it works out very nicely indeed.

They also had- believe it or not- GBC games! Unfortunately, they were all Pokemon or "cartoon-inspired" games, except for one- UNO. Since I have no idea how to play it, all I could do was just mash some buttons and hope to get somewhere. But the real reason was to see what a GBC game actually looked like, rather than playing a GB game that was colorized. It was very impressive; Towers ought to be very good indeed.

Sadly, my luck finding ColecoVision games "in the wild" is all but gone. The last decent find was back in 2000, when I stumbled across a lawn sale with a ColecoVision, some games, and a Roller Controller with Slither.

That's really very amusing. Two points for Jibbajaba!

I love the wormlight. It was only when my wormlight stopped working for the GBA did I get an SP.

Wow, thanks for the info. I didn't know Radio Shack sold replacement back covers for Gameboys. Maybe I sould go check around and see if I can find some at my local store. Lord knows I find a Gameboy without a battery cover almost every other day at the flea markets.

As for my finds.. I never really find anything of interested. Most of the time I either have to trade my stuff or find it on ebay. Nothing really pops in where I live. Though I did manage to grab a copy of both Klonoa and Guilty Gear at the same time last year for about 20 bucks total. That was pretty decent.

Yes, Radio Shack may have them, but only leftovers. They were just trying to get rid of the backs I found, as, naturally, everything is GBA/SP now, along with that DS thing.

If you go, your best bet is to look through the stuff for yourself. Remember, the employees at the place I checked did not know that it was there.

Good luck.

A local video store has a bunch of Pelican GBA/SP products in the "clearance bin," mostly magnifiers, super battery packs, and chargers, usually for about $7.00 each.
