I got a GBA Movie Player a few days ago in the mail from Lik Sang. Enjoying it so far. Put a few short movie clips on it. Also put loads of mp3s on it and a few text files and photos. So tried it out by listening to loads of music on the way to and from my game shopping yesterday which got me: (got mostly all at GameFocus)
Dreamcast:
Virtua Fighter 3tb JAP with Project Berkely (Shenmue) disc - £2
Biohazard: Code Veronica JAP (with nice slipcase :) ) - £5
PenPen TriIcelon JAP - £4
Napple Tale JAP - £8
Tony Hawk's 2 PAL- £4
Ready 2 Rumble PAL- £5
Neo Turf Masters - NGPC - £10
Boktai - GBA - £18
Another Code: Two Memories - DS - £27
also got Singles for the PC in the HMV sale for £1.80 and picked up a wallet style case which holds 12 DS games and 3 GBA games which means I can carry all my DS games on holiday (although Boktai with its light sensor doesn't fit in and the GBA Movie Player which is old GB cart size doesn't fit)
Also tried to get a couple of other games at CEX but as usual they couldn't find the discs. The 2 times I've tried to buy cheap bargains there they couldn't find the discs. Luckily they had VF3tb.[/i]
Jumpman Jr.

Bought at Gamestop:
PS2: Prince of Persia: Sands of Time - $17.99
PSX: Mega Man 8 Anniversary - $4.99
(I found it intresting how MM8 Anniversary is $4.99 at GS, and the regular MM8 is $9.99. Also means $21 cheaper then the DP price. Ha!

Only find of the week for me. Made it really sweet cause I was on my way to do some off site work at our company warehouse, so I was getting paid to shop at the thrift store on top of finding this for 2$.

Today while getting a new stereo installed in my car (not having a CD player sucks) my friend an I ambled over to Gamestop to have a look around.
Same old, same old, mostly. Someone had alphabetied the PS1 games, that copy of Xtreme 1 in a Raiden Project case was still here... But then I spotted something. Something amazing.
I picked it up, walked over to the clerk and said "I must have this! May I have this, good sir?"
The clerk looked over to the other clerk and they decided I could have it should I put down a preorder. Five bucks toward Castlevania DS later, it was mine. What was it? Behold:

I asked the story behind this peculiar item. Apparently, the guy who traded it in had lost the original insert (how he managed that without losing the manual is beyond me) so he drew his own on the back of an MSN insert.
...I thought it was cool, anyway. :) Certainly sticks out on the shelf...

Yet more eBay stuff arrived this morning. Nothing special but at last I own a copy of Tekken 3. Whether I'll take time out from Tekken 5 to play it, meanwhile, is another matter :)

Technically this could be a "Weekend find" for me since I have Thurs/Fridays off. :D
Armored Core 2 guide- $3
I had been looking for this! 8-) Wouldve bought more but my wife was w/ me & I'm kinda under "game arrest" for the summer due to recent purchases!
The Roseville Game Cauldron is THE PLACE to go for strategy guides. They had a whole standing rack of them right by the door, doubles of some, for $3 each. Decent condition too.
& for the local MNs who cant find ANY Saturn games, go there. They had a whole 3-ft-long shelf of Saturn games- I saw 5-6 of NHL/PGA/Madden 97, but lots of other titles too. In fact, they have several games for nearly every prominent game system. Dreamcast imports under the counter, BOXED VCS, Intelly, LOOSE Colecovision- they even had a few 3DOtitles (& the one w/ Tia Carrera- Daedalus Encounter?)
The only complaint I had was w/ the clerk, who decided playing a game/phone chatting were more important than me (as a customer). He didnt say ONE word to me (not even "hi") the entire 10-15 min I was in there, & nothing even during check-out. Damn kids.
Oh, & the city REALLY needs to put in traffic lights at the intersection in front of Robert Paul TV. It's ridiculous.

Today was okay. I didn't get much video game stuff. I got an aqua gameboy color with Super Mario World 2 for $.75 and some assorted star wars and star trek pc games for a couple of dollars. I got yoda stories with the pc games. I've been looking everywhere for that game!

Thank you :)
They are both in truely MINT condition.
The Bayou Billy still has the original plastic wrap on it and the Codename: viper doesnt have any dents/nicks at all! The only thing its lacking is the styrofoam bottom :(
Anyways, im VERY proud of the first 2 games in my collection and look forward to seeing it grow as the days progress.
But hopefully I will get a few styrofoam bottoms from a trade for a teeshirt in the buy/selling forum.

Good luck on your NES collection :) Its going to be fun I bet (collect NES myself). Btw, is it possible to buy NES styrofoam anywhere? I dont like making my own.
