Ok I feel dumb.....(atari 2600 related)

I just got Raiders of the lost ark for the 2600, and cant play it. I start the system with the game in it lol and I press everything and nothing happens. Do I actually have to wait for something to come out? It's getting pretty annoying. :angry:

Does a picture show up on the screen or is the screen black? If a picture shows up or a demo is running or something, hit the reset button.

You're not dumb. The controls in this game are pretty crazy. You actually use the joystick in the right port to control Indy's movement, the left joystick is used for inventory. I assume you're getting the start up screen? Once Indy reaches the bottom of the screen, press the button on the joystick in the right port to start the game. You'll need the instructions to play this one.

There is picture on screen. And then it shows indy (i guess) on the bottom, then it says Raiders of the lost ark on top. But no matter what I do, or how many times i reset, it goes nowhere.

EDIT: JESUS! You got to be kidding me about the 2nd port stuff right? lol Damn thats pretty retarded.
