They're really of no value to you. You get a point for each game you play, you get a bonus point or two for beating your personal best score or getting a trophy. The only real use these have (at least in the way we have it set up today) is that every 200 GE points gives your character (if you've created one, again in the Arcade area) an extra experience level. However, we're really not doing anything with the characters either.

So bottom line, they're really of no value to you.

Any plans to do anything with the characters in the future? Perhaps as an incentive for people to bother creating them...


Also, do we actually gain more meseta for beating our personal bests? I know you win the jackpot if you get a trophy, but in the FAQ's it says something about getting meseta for simply doing reasonably well... Or do you have to be top 3 for a little bonus like that?

No plans at this time. I wouldn't incent people to create them because there's really no good reason for having them. They're for fun and it will probably stay that way.

You don't get meseta for beating your personal best but as stated above you get extra GE for doing so.

i dont think the arcade works for me - ive played in it and recived no points or even logged time - but it did cost me meseta and when i had none i couldnt play -- not that i care about the points or time - just mentioning incase its an error that needs to be fixed

Well, it seems hard to actually get better scores seeing as how most the games "Queue" you up in order of when you gained the highest score... So certain games liek the "Typing Master" - Even though you may get the same score (153) it will rank you behind everyone else who also got it at an earlier time...
