Look at Mr. Whiskers sitting there with his $499 bid. He bid me up $400 on my Mario statue. It's gonna suck for him now.

I got bid up close to $400 on a Mario statue by Mr. Whiskers just last week. It's time he have a taste of his own medicine. BID BID BID BID! You know you want one. I can tell you now his max bid is close to $800.

So is this auction just for the Mario statue, or is the girl included as well?

Shill bidding? I said "you know you want one", not "I know you want to bid him up and not get the item". You really should think twice before making that kind of accusation.

You also said that "payback was a bitch", "It's time he have a taste of his own medicine" and "It's going to suck for him now". What, do you think we're stupid and don't see what you're looking for here? At least be honest about it.

Oddly enough, my High School has that very same statue in the swimming pool area. Bastards tainted it with the High School flag. x_x

I am being honest jackass. Mr. Whiskers didn't shill bid me. He really wanted that statue which is why he's bidding on this one, too. If I wanted to shill, I'd just do it myself since I know what he's willing to pay.

You may be taking ebay bidding a tad bit too personal.

Chill ;)

I think he's selling the statue to pay for a boob job for the girl.

sooo.... you are making fun of someone because they bid up to $400 and decided to back off the one you won, and now they have to bid $499 to get one?

whatever drives your crank i guess

I think you are reading it wrong. The person currently bidding $499 bid $810 on the last one. DP's NES was winning the last one for roughly $400 when Mr.Whiskers came along and put a large bid in which caused DP's NES to pay $400 more than what he was winning the item for prior to Mr. Whiskers bid.

Thank you for the clarification. That sounds about right. However it still seems like someone is going to, or is asking the DP members to drive the bidding up just for spite.

I still do not see NES's fascination with this entire ordeal though... He did bid $800-whatever on the mario statue so he was willing to pay that (if not then why did he put that as his bid?).

It just seems overly stupid for NES to keep bringing this up over and over...

why would anyone want 2 of these gay statues?

How exactly does one tell the sexuality of an inanimate object?

He's obviously pissed off... wouldn't you be? He tossed a really high bid and thought he was gonna win the item for half of what he was willing to pay, but in the last few seconds he was bid up to exactly his maximum bid. I realize that he did bid that high, but he was hoping to get the item for much less.

Wouldn't you be kinda angry if 1 person bid you up $400?

Gay doesnt only mean homosexual. It has become more of a slang.
I dont understand why someone wants to pay that much for a mario statue. Its not very pretty imo. Looks like those icecream commersials who are outside resturants n stuff hehe.

The title also says "Payback is an itch" -- is that because Mario's hand is up the girl's crotch in the photo?!

Bummed, dissapointed, but certainly not pissed, spiteful and petty . Who put the gun to his head to have such a high bid anyway? "willing to pay" SHOULD sum it up. I've bid $30 for things and it sat at $4.90 for a week. I guess I shoulda been pissed when it went to $27?

In all honesty, no... I don't bid if I'm going to be angry that i have to pay that much. Most ebay bidding happens right at the end so being bid up $400 at the last possible second really doesn't surprise me and shouldn't surprise NES.

Let's let bygones be bygones and quit bringing this stuff up.

Props to imanerd0011 for seeing things my way.
