Does anyone else have any of these? I bought "Pac-man" at a garage sale a few years ago for just a quarter, but one of the joysticks was broken and missing so i replaced it with a Q-tip and it works, except for occassionally replacing the Q-tip. I've been looking around and saw a few on ebay and they were going for like $30+!

Oh ya, there's only one man I know who has the motherload of those Coleco Mini-Table tops, his name is "Videogamedaryll".
Here's a man who just defines "Mint condition" when it comes to those little puppies...

I think PhosphotDotFossils has a complete set of them too, but I might be wrong....I only have a Pac Man, also bought at a Garage Sale for a quarter.

I have about five of them.
A Ms. Pacman and Zaxxon that someone was throwing away that I saved. Another Ms. Pacman that I bought for five. A frogger I bought for ten. A Spaced Invaders I found for fifty cents. 8-) :-P

But his stuff isn't all in pink. :)
I have the Donkey Kong table top. It could have very likely been the first experience with gaming that I ever had since I'm nearly positive that my family had it since it was brand new. Over the years, I've played the heck out of that thing. It still works quite well, but a couple labels and the battery cover are LONG gone. It's also the oldest item in my entire game collection. I would sure love to have more of them, but I'm too cheap to buy them on eBay and I've yet to ever come across one in the wild.

There's already at least one thread about these puppies; I found this one (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=26711).
As far as finding these in the wild, here's one hint: Crossbow seems to give at least one of these things away, newly refurbished, every year at OVGE as a door prize. Not sure where he gets 'em, but that's one possibility.
I had my entire collection of Coleco mini-arcades at this year's OVGE, all of 'em full o' batteries and chirping and bleeping away. Everyone seems to love those things. :)

I have the Pac Man one and the Q*bert one. Had em since I was a little kid. The thing I especially like about the Pac Man one is the extra game on it called Eat & Run. Quite fun.
Q*berts pretty fun too. Back in the day, I used to like it a lot better than the 2600 version... plus I used to be able to take it on car trips 8-)

I've got Galaxian. To think, I almost sold that off for cheap when I was younger. Glad I held on to it, though as it's fairly sentimental. :D

I'd kill to see those prototype Coleco Berzerk and Omega Race Minis. And the Coleco-produced DK Jr. Not just the licensed Nintendo one.
Yeah. Let's homebrew some VFD Tabletops (said with tounge n cheek)

I have "Alien Attack" by Coleco. It was a Berzerk-type game. Still works.

Well..it isn't any real secret where I get them from for the show. And yes, each year I have given away at least one if not more as door prizes at the show.
First year was the Zaxxon in nearly mint shape. I wanted that one for myself...hehe.
Then for '04 we gave away three of them as I recall. A Donkey Kong (With Coleco battery eliminator), and a Frogger both in excellent condition and fully working. I also gave out one of the smaller Tomy Pac-Man games in the small yellow saucer shape.
This year we gave out another Frogger and a Ms. Pac-man.
All of these have been ebay wins. Yeap...ebay. The frogger was gotten for $5.50. It didn't work intially as many elements of the VFD weren't lighting up. But if any part of the VFD works, then usually it all will. Sure enough cold solder points on the VFD connection was causing the problem. Resoldered and reflowed all points and boom...good as new. The Ms. Pac-man didn't require anything really and was bought on a buy it now of $25 from Ebay. That probably won't happen again.

Jaro is one of the handheld kings imho (http://www.handhelden.com)
I got a bunch of Coleco's.. but to me the Bandai jap-only arcade conversions (i.e. Pengo, Track & Field, Burger Time, & Tutankham, etc.) were sort of a notch above. They may not have looked as nice and arcadey but they had a charm all their own too. :)
I wish I had a Gakken Dig Dug handheld though.. :(

Made it way easier to play with the Atari joysticks... or better yet a Genesis pad. ;)
I had all of the Coleco games in the past but they went towards AV items. I'm happy with the trades but I do miss playing them once in a while.
