I was wondering how many different artwork discs there are for ps1 lunar?

Don't quote me on this, but I think it was 4. You can still check on the Working Designs website you know.
Incidentally, I have the set where disc 1 is regular Luna, and disc 2 is Luna gone "bad".

Depends On which Lunar.
Lunar Silver Star Story had 5 releases. 4 General covers and one Fan Edition (which is by far the hardest to get and was a later release).
Lunar 2: had 2 covers
