I am a bit disturbed by the pictures in this auction. Maybe it's just me. The last pic bottom right corner is just weird.

Reminds me of some pictures I saw of the Japanese arcade version of Hyper SF2; the machines had two monitors and one set of controls back-to-back, along with a seat for sitting on.
Maybe if there was a version that allowed for arcade sticks to be used, it'd be much cooler... but as it is, just seems kinda pointless, who'd wanna sink all that money just for a videogame dual screen.

As far as the kids go, it looks like the were swimming in a pool outside and got yanked inside to take pics for the auction, hence the towels around their waists.
Talk about pooling your resources. :D
