I recently bought a MVS 1-slot JAMMA board and a MAK Supergun.
But when I try to start it up I only get some very weak grey stripes on the TV. They dissapear after 2 sec.

I tried to clean the contacts on the MVS board alot, also tried to clean the MVS game, but i still only get some grey stripes.
I have no idea if its the game, the MVS board or the Supergun thats defect.

Any tips on what to do?

Gonna slide this one on over to the arcade alley forum where it will almost certainly get some good responses. :)

Have you been able to test the supergun with another JAMMA board? That would be my first suggestion, as it could isolate the unit (or the hookup of the unit) as the problem.

Otherwise, have you booted the MVS without a game inserted? A happy MVS board will produce a white grid on the screen when booted without a game. If the grid doesn't appear without a game in there, and the supergun is tested OK with another JAMMA board, then your MVS is bad.
