This definately got out of my price range, but I just thought it was such an awesome auction and I don't even collect vintage PC.

Very nice lot. I'd easily pay that much for them if I didn't already have them all.

Wow, very nice. I've never seen an auction like this before-anyone want to guess the ending price?

I don't think that it will go that much higher than its at now. As nice as the collection is there really isn't anything super rare there and the aren't nearly as many people who collect PC games are there are who collect console games. I'd say maybe $130 or so though in the back of my head I'm wishing that I'm wrong and that it sells for much more.

Thats some really cool stuff! :) Espesaly the hintbooks with original packing. I have one of these (not with packing tho) for Larry 3. Remember they had red stuff in them so you couldnt copy it.

O_O Dang... this make me want to go back to pc games lol..
Police Quest (complete) is one of the rarest-common games out there.. that alone is worth $150-200 of my hard earned scratch.

Take it easy there. Police Quest was a fun game and all but wile it's not the easiest game to find I wouldn't go so far as to call it rare either.
I'll tell you what though, if you disagree with me I'd be more than happy to sell you one of my complete copies for $200. :D In fact, if you think that $200 for a complete copy is fair I'll take offers for my still factory shrinkwrapped copy as well

I wouldnt pay that much for Police Quest 1, but its worth every penny! That game is one of the first I really played for PC at my uncles house. I bought the Police Quest collection (1 to 4) some years later.
Police Quest 1 is so damn nice. Along with the othe Sierra adventure games that was released back then (along with Lucas Arts too :)). I miss games like this. Too bad they dont make them anymore.
Latest adventure game in 2D is Runaway Adventure I think, soon Runaway Adventure 2 is comming. Played through the first one, not a bad game. I know there are some homemade like Maniac Mansion and Zak McKraken remake. Also worth checking out :)
