PSM's 100th issue is on the stands. I'm not sure how long it's been out but I just came across it today. For a 100th issue, you'd think it might be a bit thicker but it's only 96 pages...100 if you count the covers. The first piece is about the PS3...looks like black is out and silver is in as the XBox360 photos I've seen have it being silver, too. Actually, now that I look over it, I'm disappointed. They didn't really do one thing special for this big accomplishment...most magazines tend to list the 100 best games upon their 100th. Ah well. This magazine came with a DVD so I can watch that.
I also bought my first Nintendo Power in awhile and it came with a DVD, too. At least NP didn't charge extra for otheir DVD...

That really sucks. I used to LOVE that mag. I used the subscription card out of the first issue to start a 2 or 3 year subscription. Those early years of the mag were great ones. I still have every issue. Now it doesn't seem much different than every other mag though.

I can't wait for the EGM 200th magazine. It's rumored that it will come with a free DVD with a bunch of crap. Also, the magazine will he huge. Plus the 200 best games of all time.

oh man, the egm 150th issue was the single greatest issue of any video game magazine of all time. reviews of halo, metal gear solid 2, and final fantasy x, the 150 best games of all time, the 20 worst games of all time. it was the first issue of egm i ever had, and if every issue were that good, i thought, man this was exactly what i had in mind when i think of the perfect vid game mag.

It was actually the top 100 games of all time...egm really needs to do this again though. I stopped reading EGM with the last redesign (I'm sorry but messing with the Review Crew killed the last remaining "EGM staple"), but I'll be looking forward to #200 if they do it again (#100, #150...). Anybody know when is #200?

ya I didnt even reailze it was the 100th issue, seemed like any othero ne they had put out! they should have done top 50 ps2 games of all time, that would be awsome. But yes, it was lacking. And since I get mine in the mail it came with no dvd :angry: any1 else have this problem?

I grabbed the nearest issue which is the May issue...that's #191 so the 200th one is just over half-a-year away...
I got PSM's 100th in the mail the other day.
With all the hype they gave it I expected it to be better. I wasn't impressed at all.
So many magazines so little time. I received a few issues of PSM and was underwhelmed. I feel like i've been reading the same shit for 15 years. These so-called pros feel fine slamming games that lack innovation or just plain suck. It would be nice if they practiced what they preached. Are we doomed to this mediocre bullshit for the rest of our lives? I hope not. I'm working on that now!
