I have a boxed Astrocade & a bunch of games available. I figured I'd see if there was any interest here before I headed over to eBay with it. The box has some wear, but the system is in good shape & comes with 4 of those delightful pistol grip controllers. If anyone's interested I can list out the games & get some pics, of course. Thanks!

I might be interested depending on price. I have no knowledge of this system or what they go for. Also, are the games complete and what games?

pricing really varies for the system-it's not all that cheap due to rarity. Some of the games are boxed, a few are even factory sealed & some of them are loose. I have about a dozen games all told.

I'm not looking to sell this for WAY below market rate, so if you're looking to score it for super bargain basement prices, I'm not your girl. I'll cut something of a deal though if I don't have to go to the hassle of eBay, of course.

Oh, and I see I have the Bally Basic cassette ad on as well...

i never once said i was looking for a deal or to score a super bargain. I just honestly don't know what they go for. good luck with your sale.

One more thing-from reading the rarity guide, it appears I own the Montgomery Ward model? The label on the dust cover is red! Oh, the joy.

Anyhow, I have 7 loose games:

Panzer Attack & Red Baron
ZZZap & Dodge Em
Football
Space Invaders
Seawolf/Missile
Black Jack / Poker / Acey-Deucey
Elementary Math / Bingo Math

I'll dig up the boxed ones shortly.

josh-you're a little defensive there. I was merely stating that I'm not looking to sell this for nothing-weeding out the bargain trolls, really. wasn't directed solely at you.

sorry, didn't mean to come off defensive. I just thought it was a little directed at me that's all. Good luck with your sale :)

EDIT: If you could get some pics of the box for the system and the games you could shoot em my way. skaman953@aol.com

I'll try to email pics later this weekend-I won't have time to get them today unfortunately.

As for boxed/sealed games, I have:

Brickyard/Clowns
Grand Prix/Demolition Derby
Letter Match / Spell 'n Score / Crosswords
Astro Battle
Biorhythm
Tornado Baseball / Tennis / Hockey / Handball
The Incredible Wizard
Bally Pin
Pirate's Chase
Star Battle
Space Fortress
Bally Basic
Galactic Invasion

Oh, and it looks like I have 5 controllers, not 4. All in all, a pretty decent Astrocade collector's set-up.

for some reason bally astrocade is the one console name that sticks in my head forever, i dont know anything about the thing other than it's name, but every time i see a bally arcade game or even hear of one, i think of the astrocade.. i'd love to own one, but i dont see myself affording one any time soon.

the amazing thing is that I found this in the wild-at a thrift shop back in Wisconsin, where I went to college. quite an unusual find. it actually started my game collecting, since I had never seen one before. Now I'm unloading most of my stuff to finance my new furniture, hahaha. who would have thought games could pay for that stuff?

Hi Allyson! I wouldn't mind having it. But mostly just wanted to say hi. :)

Hi, how have you been? Long time, no chat.

I think it's out of your price range since you usually trade-I'm selling only since I have to finance my new furniture, hahaha.

But if you want to make an offer, PM me.

Thanks!

I've been doing good. Been working alot, but other than that not much new. I am able to buy now though. The reason I never bought back then was because I didn't have a job. :p I'll shoot you an offer after work. I need to do a little research on it so I don't make a dumb offer.

Allyson sorry about that. I think I'll pass at the moment, something came up and I have some bills I need to take care of.
