Wow, that thing looks awesome! I have never seen one before in my life. It looks to be a generic item, but it is still very cool. I know about the Hot Seat, and those are very rare as well.

I remember ads for those, just not for that specific one. I think there are a few out there for current systems.

Is it just me, or does the text on the box read 'GENESIS'?

:?

Yeah it does say Genesis but it may work for both consoles. The seller might have thought that Nintendo is a better selling point than Sega.

Actually if you'd look at the other photos the box says:

"Available For *Nintendo Or *Sega Genesis Video game Systems"

Which I would assume means they made more then one.

I've seen some of those on ebay.co.uk but always unboxed.
Usually presented as a sega controller.

I have this chair

It is for both Nes and Sega Genesis.

It has an interchangeable circuit board that has the controller cord input for either system

The guys chair there in Canada does not have the same frame, looks like a totally different chair all together

What is up with the 1950's looking packaging? It looks like an old frisbee or slinky ad. LOL

wow this is awesome, I remember seeing weird things like this at a video game store when I was a kid, there were these assembled NES gaming station things with their own monitor, chair, and cabinet to hold everything. I've only seen one and I've never seen it again :(:(:(

I remember adverts around about something of the tpye. Of course it would have been too overly hyped like after a session the kid would be riled up, visibly shaken, with hair all astorm.
