Got my eye on Zoo Keeper for the DS at my store for $20. Is it worth that? Looks fun enough. I like the art style. But not sure yet.

Edit: Yes, I know it can be played for free various ways. I don't care about that. I just want to know if it's fun enough to spend $20 on it for a DS version.

I was wondering the same thing. ALways was interested in it. Thanks for asking for me Jasoco!

i love it, unlike bejewled, you can still peform moves while the tiles are still dropping from your previous move. this makes chains much more lethal in multiplayer mode (which only requires one cart)

20 is a fair new price, not great though

Yes, I paid 35.00 for it and I still feel that I got well more than my moneys worth out of it.

It's not a quick sit-down and play for 5 mins puzzler, it's a "you better have an hour to play" type puzzler. Not because it's major addicting (which it is), it's just not the type you're going to die quickly on. Especially once you get good at it.

OH GOD YES.

I had a hard time dropping the 30 on it when it came out (found it on sale for 24 so I got lucky) but its one that never gets old. Your scores can always be beaten.

it's so damn addicting, ask my gf, she played it for 6 hours non-stop, and she's not even a gamer

easily worth the $20 and the best DS game out in my opinion and I am not even a huge puzzle game fan. A must have for every DS owner.

If you are into puzzle games, DEFINATLY. It got more playtime on my ds then most of my games, and i'm just a normal puzzle fan. I really enjoyed the simplicity/challenge of it. I paid full price and was happy, so yea I would go for it for $20.

Yes, easily. I paid $20 for it and It's gotten more play time than any of my other DS games. It's relentlessly addicting.

like most of the others on the board, its gotten the most playtime out of the ds games i have. it is well worth the $20 price tag. like others said its simplistic and challenging at the same time and is a real time consumer heheh.

maybe I am doing something wrong, but I suck really bad at the arcade version here, after awhile it seems like there are no possible combinations, I cant get past likr 60-80 points, wtf?

Holy crap. That's fun! I bought Meteos today. I think I'm going to buy this tomorrow. Well worth $20 IMHO. Thanks for the suggestions! Sixth place. Dang you, POG! LOL

Once again, I love the graphics. And I'm sure I've seen the concept before. Whereas you only move blocks one space at a time and if it doesn't match, it goes back. But it wasn't Bejewelled. (Never played that.) Hmm.. I wonder where. I dunno.

I like the flash version better actually. The music in the DS version sucks. Still for 20 bucks it's a good deal :)

yep i'd say it's a great game for $20. I've always liked bejeweled but I prefer to play my games on a system and it works very well with the stylus. My only complaint is the music is pretty annoying. I just turn it down and thow in a cd.

I think it would still be a deal at $20. I got it for $10 at a K-Mart 50% off sale a few weeks ago, and I've wasted many an hour on it already :)

The only DS game my Kmart has put on 50% off is Sprung. :/ I've never seen Zoo Keeper go on sale.

is sprung any good? i would feel weird playing a dating sim...

b'ah, zoo keeper is just a hack of games done repeatedly on every system and the internet, can't bring myself to PAY for the game.

Sprung would probly be worth $10-$15 but it just gets boring after awhile, it's like randomly guessing on a multiple choice test over and over until you finally score 100% You don't even care what they say after awhile, you just push what you know you need to push. Maybe if it was rated M it would be better ;)

I bought Zoo Keeper for $10 myself, and I don't even have a DS yet...

My suggestion is that you should wait for another K-Mart 50% off game sale...they happen every few weeks.

Also, Circuit City is selling Ridge Racer DS for $10 starting tomorrow (Sunday).

I bought it today and wow is it pretty fun. I'd say it was worth the $20. $10 would have been nice, but $20 is fine.

yeah, this sounds about right. multiple choice guessing until you get a whole series of answers right. its pretty frustrating. would be good if there were simply different outcomes and story variations instead of having to get the right line. the story does not flow well at all either. I liked it at the start but near the end it just gets far too frustrating
