Due to being mugged for my bike key then the thieves taking my bike and the insurance company won't pay up, I'm in a bit of a pickle. I'm just posting to gauge for interest in any of my things. Anyhow, the possible list consists of:

Dreamcast:

Flintstones: Viva! Rock Vegas (White Label GD) with offers above
Heroes of Might and Magic III (Dreamcast GD-R) with offers above $450
Propeller Arena (Dreamcast GD-R) with offers above $450
Test Drive Cycles (Dreamcast GD-R) with offers above $400

XBOX:

The Red Star (Generic DVD-R) with offers above $200

The only real catch would be if I did decide to sell everything would have to go or nothing as there would be no point me breaking up my collection and still be unable to restore my finances.

Is this the beat-em-up based on the obscure comic book? I'd love to get it but i'm a bit short on cash :( . Do you work for a publisher? That's the only reason I can think of on how you obtain all these games. Good luck selling them, and be sure to make a little back-up for yourself to enjoy ;)

Nah, more than a few copies of The Red Star have surfaced already. I know of at least 4 for sure. It got sent out as a review copy in beta. They're out there.

I thought Propeller Arena got dumped though?

Propeller was dumped. at one time, I had a common CD-R copy......got lost in the shuffle tho. IMO not a very good game.

You don't think so? It's one of my top three favorite DC games -- especially with four players!

But you could buy Prop Arena ;)

I never posted exact details in the thread of what happened but basically I had a Honda NXR125 Bros ES on Saturday, I got mugged by 3 guys on the street in broad daylight and they stole it thus now I don't have it :( My money was tight before the bike was stolen but now I have to buy another vehicle too .....

Bah!

*cues coldplay* Why does it always rain on me ...?

Currently there is 1 person interested in Flintstones @ $250 and 2 peopleinterested in Heroes III @ $500.

I'm 51% sure coldplay may have done a cover , but I knew it was originally done by Travis ;)

Describe The Red Star to me. I have a super early "first milestone" version, another really early playtest version that only has the first couple stages, and the E3 demo. Is yours near-complete, or what?

I'm flattered you think i have $450 to spare for a Dreamcast game...but i don't.

Sorry to hear about your vehicular loss.

I've never played it yet, I got it from a reliable source and it's been plonked in my pile since.

Well, if you find time to test it, let me know and I may make an offer.

It would be hard for me to test it because I don't have any modded/debug/xdk xboxes I only have a retail crystal box (which may sound strange when I've owned dev hardware for lots of different systems) hehehe. I know a friend who has a modded box with debug bios I may be able to test it on, ironically it was outside his house where my motorbike was stolen, but I'll see what I can do.

Ok. I really don't want to blow $200 on a game I already have three copies on when I don't know what's on it, hope you understand!

It's a review version if that's any concolation. It's no guarantee, but it should definitely put it at a later build than your preview copies going on the logic that a review copy is typically more complete/almost complete compared to a review copy :) Maybe you could throw some meseta my way too? :D

Do you know if it came from a reviewer?

Yes, you will most likely know who they are, they frequent this forum too, but I won't mention their name.

Then can you ask that person if it's a complete game?

Sure when I see them ;)

I'm ready with $200 as soon as you find out.

I asked and he has no idea, but as I was saying before about review versions he can only assume it's complete enough to be worthy of reviewing so *probably* later build than yours, it's up to you if you want to take the gamble.

LeGit, to better enhance your chance of selling these, it sounds like you really need to find a friend with a developer's (or *gasp* cracked) console and test these out, so you can tell people just exactly how complete they are. I know the "life is like an untested prototype" philosophy is all well and good, but I get the feeling prospective buyers might want to play these games too.

LeGIt

I've played Flintstones, Test Drive Cycles and Heroes of Might and Magic III ;)

I've also sold Heroes of Might and Magic III and Propeller Arena and may have a buyer for the others too.

At the time I bought them I never asked or needed to know how complete they were - an unreleased game is an unreleased game no matter how complete it is, but I can understand TRE's reluctance when he already has 3 different builds of 1 of the games already hehehe.

Testing The Red Star is not possible with my current set up, I know people with XDK's and I've passed up the chance many times to buy them, but no one I know locally has the hardware to test the disc.and If I could test it, it would be impossible to determine if it was complete or not without knowing what complete should be.

I had a nice chat with the Red Star team a few days ago, and they've found a publisher. So I'm gonna pass and buy it when it comes out.

Good for them I guess, but bad for me and the $200 I spent on it hehehe.

Oh well :( Maybe someone else will be interested :)
