Hello all,

I've recently bought a Sega CDX that has a problem. It plays audio cd's fine while using the batteries, but will not play any games when plugged in with the ac adapter.
Orange light comes on, shows "Game" cd spins a bit then stops. No video output. I've opened it up and found 1 or 2 fried components on the internal power supply module pcb.

Here is a picture of the bad components.

I found the cat number for the 2 bad components...

one on left says W7 and on the right is 5 6X can't looks like there might be a dot (.) between 5 & 6X on the second component. But it look like 56X. Is the W7 a zener diode ?

Are these both diodes ? And whats the equivalent ? especially for the 56X one.

If someone has a link to a spare please post it.

Any info that will aid me to repair this unit would be appreciated.

Thank you for any help in advance..

UPDATE: The 56X can it be this part ?

Replaced the part with a zener diode.
