I bought a set of those special game screwdriver bits off of ebay about six months ago. There are two in the set - a 3.8mm and a 4.5mm. The 4.5 is just fine for opening consoles. The 3.8mm however is a pain to use - as the outside diameter of the bit is too wide, so the bit scrapes the hell out of the snes and nes carts I'm opening. It works, but looks pretty bad once I'm done. I used to repair computers for a living - so I'm pretty picky about that sort of thing.

From what I read pretty much all the bits being sold come from the same manufacturer, and there were a lot of people having the same type of problem. Has anyone been able to get a good gamebit screwdriver that dosen't do this? One that was a full screwdriver instead of just a bit would be nice. Or would I be better off trying to file down the outside of the bit to work better?

Thanks in advance for any info!
