Anyone stupid enough to buy some UMD movies? I've heard that it's one of the most popular uses of the console. I'd like to see rental kiosks at every train station.
I bought:
Tron
House of Flying Daggers
Haven't watched them, but I look forward to seeing them when I'm feeling too blah to game and wife is watching some pap like Real World.

I've found the UMD movies are watchable if you place your PSP on a stand--so you don't have to hold onto the system.

Bought one for a flight and enjoyed it a lot... sold it as soon as I landed (well ok a week after).
I think UMD are a good ideas for 2 things:
- Kids who don't have TV in their bedroom (and no kid should have a TV in it's bedroom)
- People who travel (including kids) and want to have something to watch while in the car/train/plane
In any case UMDs should be available as "throw away" item - $10 a pop should be the price.

Do UMD movies have any extras?
I don't have a PSP (waiting for GTA to come out) but I think the UMD's are just too expensive... some of Fox's new ones have a MSRP of $30... that's just ridiculous, even at $20 they're too expensive for something you can only use on the PSP.

I have not yet purchased any, but I am planning on buying Napoleon Dynamite on Tuesday. The Fox movies list at $30, but Best Buy and Circuit City are both selling them this week for $20 a piece. Other titles under this sale incluse Predator and Super Troopers (among others).

EDIT: Dodgeball and I-Robot are two others.
