I got this. I played alot of MC2, and I'm jamming through the first 10 races without much issue. Does the game get harder? Tell me it does. It's my second most anticipated PSP titles (after Untold Legends, which I found to be an Untold Letdown after around 15 hours of gameplay.)

San Diego in Midnight Club 3 vaguely resembles the real town, although I was truly hoping for an accurate map, as I'd know my way around already. I'm actually looking forward to games with real towns in proportion.

Can't wait to wirelessly play a few friends.

So far it has not gotten any harder. I'm starting to be very disappointed!

I heard they turned down the difficulty because so many people bitched about MC2's difficulty (which IMO didn't really crank up until the last part where you have to back through the cities racing that "master", which are pretty tough races).

The difficulty was the best part. The AI on the computer cars was the highlight- they'd knock you into a spin if you messed with them. They were just plain mean.

If that's truly the case, I'll call this my greatest letdown since... Well, since Untold Legends (which doesn't remember your dungeon plodding- dungeons are replenished with monsters every time you enter them.)

Why is this game $50 on the PSP.... :/

Because it's pretty much the same as the $50 version for full-sized consoles, which means it cost lots and lots of money to develop, which means Rockstar wants to recoup its investment. It's the same reason why Xbox 360 and PS3 games will retail for $60.

I think that MC3 is good visually and in terms of gameplay, but Jesus Christ the loadtimes are LONG.

I'd love to play it more but those minute long(or more) load times kill it for me. Even in the customization shop the load times make changing parts on the car cumbersome. Glad I rented this one before I bought.

That helps me decide whether or not I should wait, or buy at full retail. Thanks!

Wait it is.
