TG16 CD - PC Error?

Finally getting around to trying out a TG16 cd I got a while back. The HU Card slot works fine. When I power it up with a system 2 card in it, I get the main screen for the CD. As soon as I hit run, it goes into a please wait screen and stays there. The display on the cd itself says PC. The cd never does anything.

I've tried 2 different TG16 and 2 different system cards with no luck. I pulled the cd and hooked it up to a working TG16 ps, dropped in an audio cd, and it still won't play. The spindle never turns and nothing happens other than the digital display says 0.

I'm assuming the problem is in the cd unit itself. Are there any common problems with these? Anything in particular to look for?

Edit: Forgot to mention, I'm using the original TG16 CD power supply for the whole unit and an original TG16 power supply when the cd is out of the dock.

There is a little round knob that secures the cd into the tg16, its on the side of the cd attachment. Be sure it is turned. The system will not work if that knob is not turned.
