Odd thing happened on E-Bay today.

I sold a new strategy guide for the PS2 Grandia Xtreme. When I sent a Statement I noticed I had put $5.00 for shipping instead of $3.00.
I noticed the buyer was online so i Instant Messaged him about it . Come to find out he was the one who wrote the guide and they hadn't sent him any copies yet and he saw how fast I shipped so he bought one from me. ( I checked his Contact info and yes it actually was the guy who wrote it.) Anyway Crazy things happen.

it's not uncommon at all. i know a few people who worked on games and never got finals, or had to wait ages for one, and i wrote a review & mini-strategy for gundam side story 0079 (dreamcast) for a magazine a while ago, and got paid... bit i NEVER saw the magazine after it came out!... X_x

That's so true. I work on some of the Scholastic CDROM games to be translated to arabic and spanish. My company never gives me any of the real product (because they are cheap bastards) even though I worked on it and my name is on the credits... geesh.

Maybe I'll just have to buy the darn games like everyone else...
