Is it possable to find out what machines are going to be playable at the show? Are there going to be more than last year ?*crosses fingers*
Im struggling to get my b/f to agree to go with me, but he seemed into playing some sweet arcade machines. Unfortunately he likes newer stuff exclusively O_O so I was wondering if anyone knows if there will be some 3D cabs or a Neo-Geo machine....?
Yeah, a list of games would be cool... I was wondering about the Neo Geo also... I've got some carts (not a whole lot), but if there was going to be a NG there, I could bring some if there's something that I've got that others would want to play. Of course a 6 slot would be preferred so we wouldn't need to switch out any carts, but a 4 slot would be fine too.
I wish I could bring some of my arcades, but it'd be pretty tough to sneak them on the plane :P . But I could easily pack a few NG carts.
Oh... and if your b/f is into newer games, I'm guessing that there'll be another MAME cab or two again this year, so he might be able to find something he likes on that.

Lessee... you can guess about what machines are going to be there by the machines that have been there in years past. Maybe a Dragons Lair, possibly a Cliffhanger (I LOVED playing that cab), maybe Frogger, Centipede, DK, Punch-Out!!!, Mappy, possibly a Tempest (there was one last year if my memory serves but it wasn't functional... maybe it was 2003...).
Take a guess, it just might show up. :)

Crystal Castles and Tempest running in the same room? :D
I would be happy if only they had Crystal Castles set up again this year...but alas I can only dream...
About the MAME cabs...
I never even touched them last year due to long lines. It seemed like the only crowded area was around those cabs. :/ But my memory is a little hazy so what do I know ;)

About the MAME cabs...

I completely forgot about the MAME cabs, probably because they were just so packed with players by the time I got there. There's always the X-Arcade booth too, they had Robotron 2084 playing for the entire show, if I remember right, and whatever other titles they had running.
Crystal Castles... Tempest (if there's a working cab)... :rocker:

Hello all. I am the one responsible for bringing the arcade games. Myself along with Vintage Arcade Superstore (http://www.vintagearcade.net/) will be supplying the arcade games. Its hard to say at this point which games will be at CGE2K5 since VAS buys and sells classic games on a daily basis. If you seen the games at CGE at E3, you prolly guess thats the kind of cabs will be at CGE2K5.
