Interest Check: Playstation Display Case with Prices!

I *may* have the opportunity to get my hands on a store display case for Playstation games. I have to double check with the store manager this Saturday.

Trouble is, I don't have room for such a thing, but I dont want to let this be destroyed (which is what they said they MAY do) :/

So, I thought I would ask all you guys if any of you may be interested in such an item, and if so, what you would be willing to pay for it.

Also, it should be noted that I live in the Middle of nowhere, in Northern Ontario, and this this is probably not the easiest thing to ship.

So, if anyone really wants it, PM Me and I will see what I can do this Saturday

I dont have pictures, and unfortunately I will not be able to get any, since the store is closed and locked up till Saturday. It is one of the displays that you would find in a Radio Shack / The Source by Circuit City. Similar to the ones in Wallymart, but minimally smaller in width

Ok, sounds like there is interest in this. I know its hard to ask for people to post what they would be willing to pay for this, but I just want to know ballpark what I can offer the manager for this item, if he is willing to sell it, as I will probably have to pay for it on the spot. I am not trying to make any cash on this deal, just ensure that someone gets a nice display in the end

Okay, I just went and saw theis, and realized that tehre is not only one, but two for sale.... wow are they beautiful. Anyways... the store manager is going to call me tonight or tomorrow with prices.

The only thing is, I do not have room for these things, and I want someone else to take them from me if I get them (so I am basically just being a go-between). These things are huge and heavy (6ft tall, 3-4 feet wide each). I have NO clue as to how to ship these apart from dismantling the case and sending mutliple boxes out.

So, if you want one, let me know how much you'd be willing to pay for it, so I know whether to accept the prices they offer me for them. Also, keep in mind the shipping for this, and if you have any other ideas other than dismantling the thing, let me know.

Of course, one could always come and pick it up from me at home, but as I live in the middle of nowhere, 3 hours away from the nearest major center, I do not know how many people would want to do that. That being said, if some crazy coook does want to come and pick em up... I would be more than willing to oblige

Okay.. so a week later, at the next closeout sale.. I go back to the store to find out prices.... I kinda gawked at them... he wants $250.00CAD apiece for them

I was thinking they would be less since the store is going out of business and all

Anyways... anyone who would like to buy one just let me know and I will see what I can do.

Again... shipping would be a bitch... and I live in the middle of nowhere, in Canada, so it would be quite to road trip to pick it up.... but it can be done

I live in Marathon, it is 300 km east of Thudner Bay (a 3 hour drive), 400 km west of Sault Ste Marie (4 hour drive), and about 9 hour drive from Sudbury... just to name the nearest places to me
