Just like the thread states! I need all of you computer/photoshop gifted people to help me design my stores logo! The winner (that could be you!) will receive some really great prizes!
I have tried and failed to make a professional logo for my game store that will be opening soon. So I've decided to make a contest here on DP and enlist what I'm sure will be the best contenders anywhere.
The prizes will be as listed (winner gets EVERYTHING HERE):
1. JVC X'EYE - ($100 VALUE) This is the fairly rare Sega CD/Genesis system with everything you need to hook it up and start playing. This includes A/V, A/C, official RF, and 2 controllers! (unit is in working shape with a few scratches, as is the nature of the system..ie..it scratches easy)
2. Turbo Grafx 16 - ($40 VALUE) An awesome system with a HUGE fanbase! Comes with everything you need to play including RF (not NEC), A/C, one controller (has pin problem but works perfect).
3. GAMES!!! - (probably worth $100 to $150) You'll need some games to play on your new systems so I'm gonna hook you up! Included in this package will be:
- Bomberman '93 (TG16) - Great game and quite rare!
- Bonk's Adventure (TG16) - One of the best platformers
- Hellfire (Genesis) - Excellent shooter usually high in price
- Sub-Terrania (Genesis) - Never played it, now you can!
- Shinobi III (Genesis) - Great sequel to an awesome series
- Columns III (Genesis) - Addictive puzzler w/5 player action
- Garfield (Genesis) - Rated an R5 in Digital Press
- Sonic & Knuckles (Genesis) - Dammit you know what it is!
- Batman Returns (SEGA CD) - I'M BATMAN!!!!!!
- Black Hole Assault (SEGA CD) - Action/Adventure game
So what do you think? Some GREAT stuff here and all you have to do is spend a little time with your PC or MAC and design my stores logo.
I want some professional looking entries but feel free to enter anything as many times as you want.
The name of GAME OVER! is copyrighted so NO ONE may use the name for any other uses besides this contest! I also CANNOT use logo's including other characters (i.e. Pac-Man, Mario, Bonk...etc)
Here is the name along with everything else I want included in the original logo design:
GAME OVER! (LARGE LETTERS CARTOONY PREFERRABLY)
Video Games, Music, Movies, & More! (around 1/3 to 1/4 the size of the letters in "GAME OVER!")
PLEASE POST ALL ENTRIES IN THIS THREAD. See what you can do and let's see some great ideas! The contest will end on July 20th and the winner will be announced shortly after. You do not need to be online to win and you will receive a PM from me in addition to having your name announced here on this thread!
Winning entry thereafter becomes my property and cannot be used for any other use.
If you have ANY questions at all please shoot me a PM. I also have a font that I think would look great that I can e-mail you a picture of if you want. Just PM me with your e-mail address and a request.
