This one is made by Argo, on their website it says:
"Perfectly Compatible with Nintendo 8 bit"
But my NES carts don't fit in. :(
Any information/rarirty listing/price guide would be awesome. Hey, it was only 10p from a charity shop!

A Doctor V64, it has a VCD player at the front. It plugs into the Expansion Port (64DD Port) under your N64 and does crazy stuff, crazy stuff that I have never gotten to work. I burnt an N64 rom onto a CD, put it in, but as I expected, no worky. Again, info/rarity/price would be great.
This one was free, I saved it from my local rubbish dump.

That is most likely a Famicom clone, so you're going to need a NES-to-Famicom converter to play your NES games on it. As for rarity, individually it's quite rare, as not many clone systems are alike, but many clones nowadays do come in this N64-look, thus it's value is not that high...worth around £2-3, unless someone mistakes it as an N64 ;)

Ok, Famicom, thats good. I have a NES so no need for a convertor, but it may be useful if I get some Famicom games, while I'm waiting to find a Fami on eBay.

Thanks ;)

Yep, looking at the controller ports on that thing. Dont think you can put a normal NES controller in there.

On the V64 does it power up? Can it read from the CD at all? I had one AGES ago and regret selling it now. I like the ability to put trainers on the roms, because in general, I suck at most games and don't have the time to unlock everything.

On a V64 make sure you don't turn power on to your N64. The V64 has its own power supply. If connected and powered up, it should come up with its own on screen menu. You don't turn on the N64 until the ROM is loaded. Also, you have to run the N64's video cames into the V64, and then another set of RCA cables from the V64 to your television. Also make sure that you have a cart in your N64 (shouldn't matter what it is).

If you got that for free and can get it to work, that's quite a bargain. I paid around $50 just for the power supply for mine.
