I recently passed up buying Shin Megami Tense: Nocturne (F the spelling) figuring I could get it cheaper later. Now, I can't sniff a copy and it's getting stupid money on ebay.

Oh well, win some (Arc the Lad: TotS $5.99) lose some.

Any you put off, only to miss out?

I remember going to a Gamestop and seeing a gold cart that said Nintendo World Championships on it or something. I didn't buy it cause it was $5.99, way too much if you ask me. LOL

In all seroiusness I think the only thing I passed on that I regret is a Final Fantasy 3 cart. I bet you that they still have it though at my local Pawn Shop, but I don't feel like digging in boxes for 2 hours to find it.

Gitaroo Man and Rez for $30 each, sealed.

I didnt know at the time they were both awesome, and worth something (that that I would have sold either).

Seeing Earthbound in Wal-Mart years ago and passing on it because I thought it was too expensive. @_@

Just recently, Harvest Moon: Back to Nature. It's pretty hard to get here in NZ, and I've only ever seen 3 being auctioned.

See back in '98 around here, Dragonball GT: Final Bout was impossible to find. Impossible to find in retail stores, but 1 blockbuster had it. I called everyday for what seemed like a year, then they told me, they got it back in. Boy was I excited, I drove to the store, and rented it. It was due back in a certain amount of time. I had to decide whether or not to keep it. I returned it, doing the right thing. That one still haunts me to this very day (Still can't find it).

back when the sega saturn finally died, my local meijer had all of there sega saturn games marked down to $9.99,except one, panzer dragoon saga,it was still $49.99,and while i was buying up all the good $9.99 saturn games i said to myself,im gonna wait on the panzer dragoon saga, because it eventually will go down to 9.99 as well.i was dead wrong.i never seen it go down in price, and eventually it was gone,so i have never got to play and own the game, and i have always wanted to play it.man,if i could go back in time,i would pay the 49.99.i never had a clue back then that the game would command the price it does now.

Valkyrie Profile. I saw a used copy at a local store for about $60. Went to get the game yesterday, and of course it's gone.

I passed on a near mint PAL copy of Death and Return of Superman on the Megadrive for £7.99 last year in a local shop in my home city of Glasgow called G Force.

Also passed on a PAL copy of Star Trek Deep Space 9 on the Megadrive for a fiver. ARGH!

Advanced VG 2 for PSX. I found a copy yesterday for 30$ Thought I'd get some food and then buy it. I couldn't find the f*cking store afterwards!!!!

I have to add I was in Akihabara where its quite easy to get lost.

The first thing that comes to mind is the sealed Radiant Silvergun that SAT FOR A YEAR in a local gameshop when I was back in college, around 99/2000. Price was $49.99. I figured, well, nobody else seems to want it, so I'll just get it later.

 @_@

It looks like Nocturne is still fetching around $50 or so -- not cheap, but hardly exorbitant, either. Last time I made the rounds I saw several new copies for that and many used for less in my town. Still...

Somewhere around Feb. I pass up a used copy of Hurricains(or whatever it's called, its a R7 anyway) for SNES 10$ used. I though it was too much so I didn't get it.

I know it wasn't too bad of a mistake, but I still kick myself in the head for not buying it.
