I've heard that the turbo grafx could display 512 colors on the screen at the same time. Does anyone know how many colors the snes and genesis could display? Just wondering and wasn't sure where to look for the system specs.

Genesis: 64
SNES: 256
The Turbo's palette is 512 total colors and it could display up to 482 at once.

Didn't know the Turbo Grafx was that capable. I will get my first one somewhere next week as I fdound a new PAL-model recently.

Thanks for the info, didn't know if it was more than the snes or not but it seems it was quite a bit more.

Have fun with your turbo, it's an excellent system. And get Galaga '90 if you enjoy shooting games at all. I've been playing this game all day,beaten it twice already.

eh just to make sure no one's understanding this wrong,
the snes could do 256 colors AT ONCE, it's palette with 32.768 (right??) is a lot bigger than Gen and Turbo
