Hey, I recently aquired a Mega Drive for £2, and after some cleaning it looks great. I was jsut wondering, as its a Megadrive 1, and its PAL, will Sega CD and 32X work with it and fit?
Thanks for reading.

If I remember well it worked with me in the past. But as it was years ago I tested this for the last time I ám not 100% sure.

I've been wondering if the Sega CD 2 would fit the Megadrive 1. Someone on Ebay with a mega cd 2 said "comes with extra connectors to fit with megadrive 1.
As far as I'm aware the 32x should work just as well with both the megadrive 1 and 2.

Thankyou for your answers.
A few more questions, hope you don't mind.
Were the Sega CD and 32X released in Europe, so have I got any chance of finding either in the wild? I have seen one CD game, so I'm hoping for a yes.
Any UK peeps had any luck finding a 32X in the wild? They go pretty high on eBay (over £50 for mint/boxed)

They certainly did release them in Europe. I've seen loads of Sega CD games and a few 32x ones. I've never seen the systems out in the wild though, although I know someone with a box. I really want to get my hands on a sega cd, but they're well over £20 on ebay which seems a bit much for me at the moment.

I wouldn't call it expertise, I've been getting a lot of gaming related stuff wrong recently. I've seen far too many of the games for them to be imported and I think on the box I saw it said something about the megadrive, so it must have been European.
