I have two great upgrades for one of the best 2D consoles of all time.

The modchips will allow you to play CD-R backups and homebrew. With burned games, you can also patch the country code to allow you to play imports.
More info can be be found here:
racketboy's Sega Saturn Mod Chip Page (http://racketboy.blogspot.com/2004/12/sega-saturn-mod-chips-now-on-sale.html)

Also the 1MB/4MB RAM carts allow you to play many Capcom, SNK, and other games that require it. It also enhances various other games.
Here's a list of games that support/require this cart (http://racketboy.blogspot.com/2005/05/sega-saturn-games-that-use-1mb4mb-ram.html)
(list may be incomplete)
For more information, check out this page:
racketboy's Sega Saturn RAM carts (http://racketboy.blogspot.com/2005/05/sega-saturn-4mb-ram-carts-now-on-sale.html)

Each chip will be $12.95
Each cart will be $15.95
Worldwide shipping is $3.50 per order no matter how much stuff you order.

If you have any questions, just let me know

Your order will be shipped the next business day via First Class Mail (US) or International Air-Mail. If you need extra-fast delivery and/or insurance, please contact me.

Email me at racketboynick@gmail.com to contact me most quickly.

Damn, I've got the football button Saturn. But I can't trade it for a circle button Saturn because I've already given it the most beautiful blue LED mod I've ever seen and it would be a crime to let that go. Oh well, I'm playing less and less burns anyway since I've been picking up real imports now.

Still.. ARGH.

hehe -- well, it's still possible to mod it.
Just not a 100% sure thing and a bit more challenging.

If anyone was wondering I bought a chip off racketboy and he was quick on shipping. Unfortunately, I sent it to the mod man from stoneagegames.com and he never returned my saturns, chip, emails, etc.

Racketboy - you should take your link off his page on your site, i put a blog about it. See this thread for more details,

I never gave him any $ though because he never gave me a final quote and his site hasn't been updated since 5/2, I'm wondering if he died or something...

Ultra fast shipping. I bought one over the weekend from him and got it today. Man, I can't believe how fun a chipped Saturn is. It is nice to be able to play certain games one can't afford.

Also, thank you Racketboy. The chip was well packed and worked the first time. Fantastic.

Yeah I saw your post on my blog and edited that post of mine warning people not to do business with him until further notice.

I've got a couple other modders that I am recommending now.

Thanks for the update and I appologize for pointing you to him. He seemed like a nice guy. but again, I don't know the situation.

Glad everything went smoothly!
And yeah, it feels nice to put those backups in and have them work just like the real thing.
