I was working on entering more GOAT Store inventory today, and we were going through all of our 3DO items. I was curious -- I know of people who have just about everything else as "complete" collections, but I have never heard of anyone having a complete 3DO collection. Does anyone on here? It seems that the 3DO gets very little love.

I'm pretty sure Joe has a complete 3DO collection...

Yeah, Joe finished a set a while back. There's a thread on it somewhere around here.

Is Joe the only one?

It seems like so many people have complete Sega CD or Saturn or Dreamcast or Genesis or NES or SNES or N64 or Odyssey 2 or Intellivision or Jaguar or Lynx... etc... collections, and I rarely see anyone with get excited for finishing off the 3DO.

I was starting to wonder if anyone on here had any love at all for the 3DO. I for one love it and it's the collection i'm just starting to complete. I only have about 30 titles so far, and not all of them are complete, but i'm gonna try to do it.

after getting two Sanyo 3DO TRY dead stocks I've been thinking of picking up 3DO titles... I think I already have around 20+ titles so far but given the quality of many titles don't think I will bother with completing the collection but just the titles that interest me... LOL

I just recently bought a 3DO from VACRMH and am waiting for it to arrive. I have always wanted this system, and I plan on building up a fairly large collection of titles since many of them can be had for dirt cheap.
Too bad that ebay has so many loose cd games though :(

Yeah, 3DO seems to be the red headed step child of the console world. Its too bad too because there are plenty of really good games, just more really bad ones. Star Control 2 is the game that got me collecting games. I'm at 42 complete 3DO games and counting.

Hi Dan,

I've had a complete set of 3DO since the last title was released. Those d@mn Woody Woodpeckers were the hardest for me. Of course, finishing the set while the games were still on store shelves were much easier than doing it today.

I even licensed two unreleased 3DO titles for my company to release, but we can't break the encryption so they will only play on development units. If anyone reading this can assist, we'll get two more 3Do titles out the door like we've done with so many Sega CD titles in the past.

I finished my US 3DO collection a few years ago. Everything is complete, even those awful ESPN, Woody Woodpecker, and Mathemagics-style "games". And the repacked "Maniac Pack" and "Action Pack".

I've been working on a complete import collection to go along with it. I've got 113 presently, 90% of those are unique to Japan.

3DO may not get too much love elsewhere but in this house it's a coddled mistress.

Joe's the only person I know who has a digital brothel in his house.

I bought my original 3DO off of a GameShark co-worker, and then bought the original front loader off of ebay with a shit ton of games. Ever since attacking the PSOne variant hunt, everything else in my collection has suffered. I wouldn't mind a complete (i.e. 1 of each game) 3DO collection, simply because it would go so well with my "rejected systems complete collection" series; 32x, Game.com, Laseractive.

To be honest though, I doubt that's ever going to happen.

Then again, I do have the wah wah peddle Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo...what more do you need? :)

I've been collecting for the system for a little while and have a few good games all CIB. I would like to complete it someday, as it's not something everyone goes for. I noticed there was a port of a pc game I played on it a long time ago in school called DinoPark Tycoon, which I'd LOVE to try out again, but of course it's an R8. Oh well.

As far as I know, just Joe had a complete 3d0 collection.

(I'm getting deja vu)

I am really looking forward to playing some guardian war, and the shockwave series that I hear nothing but praise about.
From what I have seen 3DO looks like it has alot of potential to find a place in my gaming heart :)

don't get too excited or you'll end up like me who was really let down by the 3DO. better to think of it as a big pile of crap and then be surprised to find some fun games on it.

I've had a 3DO for over 10 years now and I'm just now starting to realize that there were actually some good games released for it. One of my all time favorite games for it is "Escape From Monster Manor". Great FPS for its time.

$700 for a fist date? What would a threesome date cost? LOL
