3. If you absolutely must bump your topic, please only do so after a period of 24 hours. If you have new information to add, please add it at the time of a bump. If you add info after an hour and bump it, you'll ruffle the feathers of the mods.

This rule in particular seems to get ignored far too often, so rather than type out an individual response each time, I'm just going to be pasting it verbatim from now on.

Also, please refer to the sticky at the top of the forum and read the rest of the rules too if you haven't yet done so. Thanks.

Indeed... I agree. Hmmm... how about possible thread deletion for offenders of the "bump"? ;) :P

LOL

Well actually, the perhaps more devious part of me would sometimes just like to delete the offending bump post itself, as opposed to the whole thread, thereby setting back the date of the thread and defeating the whole purpose of making the bump in the first place.

To be honest, I don't think that's really nescesary though. People here tend to be pretty cool, and when you let them know what the rules are they seem to be really good about just keeping with that.

That being the case, I think it's really just an issue of folks who are new here not having read over the rules. Perhaps we might need to seperate this "golden rule" as it's own sticky?

Not to mention the irony involved with the offenders getting another 4 (now 5 ;) ) free bumps from people pointing out their illegal bump...

Well, I changed the topic title majorly so I thought I would bump it. I didn't know that was wrong to do.
