Re-arrange your Items bought with meseta?

Any way to re-arrange the items you've bought with meseta? It only shows a set number of them and I'd rather see my magus statue + Celes I just bought than my DK umbrella or pengo.

My understanding is that you'll need to do some creative selling back to the stores (for half their value) to get your top picks to be visible...

Yes, I don't think you can rearrange them...they're simply put in the order you acquire them. If there's someone you trust, you could always donate your items to them and have them donate them right back but in the order you prefer.

Look at the top of the screen...there are various links there. Shop - Lottery - Jobs are three of them. Click on shop to get to the shops...

Who do you talk to in order to sell back items?

Go to the store where you bought it and click on the item. If you have that item, you'll see not only a link to buy that item but one in which to sell it as well.

Of course, since your item is now used, you'll only get part of your original price back... :D

See, I was like this at one point too.
Just make sure that you are viewing the board in its origional (black and red) colors. I don't think you can see the "Shop" button in any other settings.
When the Meseta thing was introduced, I was like "I don't see a "Shop" button. ;)

It says in the FAQ all about the "Creative puchasing".

It's a shame there isn't an option to organise the items - You'd then be free to buy any old crap in any order and only display the good stuff! Lol!

The items have got to be queued up somehow, so there's got to be some way to reorganise...


Maybe Joe could add a "Locker" feature, which operates similar to a chest in Resident Evil where you could temporarily store items so that you could rearrange them by simply moving them into the "Locker" and back in your preferred order...

Is that possible?

What Time zone do you stay in and more importantly what times are you on. I think it would be important that we are both on at the same time should you decide to go this way.

Wow! I just had the exact same idea!!!

Better still - In order to successfully implicate my above idea, DP could create a specific user (Perhaps called "Locker") whom would be controlled by him (Or perhaps one of the mods)

You could then donate all your items to this user, then have them returned back to you in the order which you specify.


Even better - DP could create a new "Job" and pay a member, or several members to help with this scheme. 8-)

The way most of our members have done this is simply by trading their items to a trusted friend, then trading them back in the order they want them to appear in (as the oldest items appear first). You could also just trade the stuff that's in your first 8 slots that you don't want away, which shifts everything else up. It's ALL about the trade feature.

Regarding the "locker" idea - that's all well and good but someone who knows PHP and SQL well will need to step forward to make that happen. I've asked for such talent in the past and all I hear are crickets.

And crickets are generally difficult to work with.
