http://shop.qvc.com/product/toys-craftsleisure/video-games2/2159/E21943.htm

it has 95 games. i ordered it and it works pretty good. the sound is shitty if you plug both the red and white plugs in but if you only plug one or the other, the sound is clear. they dont admit it is a famiclone but indeed it is. it even has a cartrdige slot on the back. the second player controller is the same as the first player one and not a shitty genesis knock off with mushy buttons.

some of the games featured are Mario Bros, DK 1-3. Galaga, Pacman, Adventure Island, Duck Hunt, Balloon Fight, Burgertime, Urban Champion, Hogans Alley, Wild Gunman, Cicrus Chalie, DR mARIO, Tetris, Joust, and more.

both controllers come with a built-in zapper. all in all, this is a pretty good famiclone and is definitely worth buying.

It still blows my mind that they can get away with selling this shit. Kiosks in malls are one thing, but you'd think QVC would be a little more concerned about crap like this.

I just noticed they are back in the kiosks in my mall. I thought Nintendo took action against this already...

they are in my mall too, except most of the games are obvious bootlegs with different title screens, they are still the same exact NES games.

I remember when QVC used to have regular shows selling video games as well as one for comic books. They seemed to stop the gaming shows when the 16-bit market petered out. I remember them selling Genesis & SNES games but don't know if they sold any PS1 games or anything else around that time. I bought one or two games that way...and I payed through the nose to get them first. Value, my butt LOL

We got our SMS from QVC. IIRC, they sold Sega but no NES.

so how does this one play?

is it hard to move your sprite sometimes?
are the images glitchy

how about when you put in an actual NES game?

im assuming your reffering to the one im talking about. well, the one i have works beautifully. crips, clear picture. its easy to move your sprites. the only bad thing about it is its mae out of cheap plastic. othwr than that, it works beautifully. i dont have any famicom games to test out the the cartridge slot but the games inside the controller work wonderfully.

i do admit that i own a super joy III, but it has mostly japanese games with cartoons hacked into it. for example, donkey kong jr's sprite is hacked to look like a ninja turtle. its fun to tinker around with, and if i ever do pick up a famicom cart, this will be the ideal way to play it

Is QVC selling any other video games on their site? I remember them selling Super Nintendo games there at one point. Maybe I'll cruise over there in a bit and check for myself...
