pirated nes roms ... ?

I was wondering if anyone knows the legality of hosting pirated nes roms on a site. I am working on a NES site, and I'm not hosting actual NES games, but I think it would be cool to host some pirated games. My first guess is that it would probably be illegal for whatever reason, but if anyone knows the true answer.. please let me know. Thanks

It's probably illegal, however since they won't be licensed by any legitimate company the small chance that anyone (ie. the firm formally known as the IDSA) would ask you to take them down is negated to zero.

Besides a side that centralized around unlicensed NES games would be kinda cool. Good luck with the project.
