Here in America we tend to get a good majority of games that utimately come from Japan or even from the U.S. But some games never get past the European side of this world, and its quite a same.

Today I would Like to express my love for some euro-only (or everywhere else but U.S.) released games that ultimately are awsome! I want to mention a few European NES games I think everyone should play at least once in their lifetime!

- Banana Prince

- Hammerin' Harry

- Parasol Stars (Rainbow Islands II)

- Mr. Gimmick

- Rodland

- U.four.ia

- New Ghostbusters 2

Some of these games are my favorite on the NES regardless they were never released in the U.S!

Wasn't Parasol starts released stateside on the Turbo Grafx-16?

I agree with you though. There are some great games in that list that never saw an American release.

Yes I believe your right about Parasol Stars, but it just feels good when you play it on your NES with Rainbow Islands 1 and Bubble Bobble 1+2.

Here's another recent thread covering similar ground (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=59862) ;)

I was just thinking about that. I have a few PS titles that never got a US release, the reason eludes me but it's probably since they were released after the PS2 came out. Hence or otherwise, it wouldn't be worthwhile to convert.

2 I can recall off the top of my head are Terracon and Overblood 2.
