Anyone plan to buy the Messiah Generation NEX console?

For some reason I’m really looking forward to the release of this thing. There’s just something about it. Anyone else going to pick up one this fall?

Also, has anyone here purchased their controllers? I was thinking about buying some but the analog D-pad thing scares me a bit, don't know how that will translate. Any thoughts?

I'm definitely interested in buying one, if it delivers as promised. True A/V outputs with stereo sound would be awesome. I love my toploaders, and one has been modified with A/V, but it's still not true stereo sound and the "lines" in the picture are still there. And let's not forget that it has seperate cartridge inputs for both NES and Famicom carts. For $60, it sounds like a great deal; I've been curious in purchasing an A/V Famicom for a while, but this looks like it may be even better, for a lower price. Anyone have any more info on this console? Is it really going to be as good as it looks on paper right now?

I may or may not pick one up at GCE. I may pass on it for some of those wireless controllers though.

I like that it actually looks like a Nintendo system.

While it is incredibly cool, I probably won't get it as the NES isn't actually on the top of my list.

I do hope they make similar products though.
I've been preaching the idea of console "re-releases" for a while, so I'm very supportive.

I'm more of a Sega fan, so I'd like to see an upgraded Saturn, Dreamcast, and Genesis with wireless controllers and everything.

Messiah mentioned making wireless Saturn and Dreamcast controllers, so I'm being optimistic :)

I'm actually thinking of making a trip to CGE to get one :)
I have reciently starteded my "minty fresh complete" nes collection and would like to acutally PLAY some of the minty fresh games that I have aquired instead of just looking at them :)

I am a tech-nut and love the idea of a current-gen, quality NEW, consolse sitting next to my tv. It will make a GREAT conversation piece too.
