Ok I was just wondering which PAL Master System games came packaged with US instruction manuals only?

I think it's just the RPGs: Phantasy Star, Miracle Warriors, Golden Axe Warrior, Lord of the Sword & Ys. Probably Golvellius aswell, but I'm missing the manual for that & can't check it.
I've not compared any directly to US versions, so can't say if they're 100% identical or not, but all those have vertical English-only manuals.

Golvellius also has that type of manual too, I asked about US manuals because I thought that I may have had a US manual in a Euro box by mistake.
So it seems that I didnt get a made up copy then :).

There were a couple of games which were distributed in Germany with aditional German instructions. They do have stickers on the box which say "Mit DEUTSCHER Bedienungs-Anleitung" (With German instructions). I do have three of them: Y's, Great Soccer (cartridge) and F16 Fighting Falcon (card). I know that Ultima IV was released with German books too.

Have you got a picture or scan of the German Great Soccer cart and F-16 Fighting Falcon covers? I've seen them both on eBay.de before, but wasn't sure if they were German releases or just US copies, since they have the US names rather than the standard Euro World Soccer & F16 Fighter.
Have they got 5-digit part numbers (410xx) like the other early German games, or just the standard 4-digit numbers?
cheers!

They do not have part numbers, but in my opinion they are US-releases:
The boxes are in English only, it's written "Sega of America" and "Now, there are no limits" on them. I'm not an expert in SMS US-releases as I only collect for European games, but I do have some US games and "Great Soccer" and "F16 Fighting Falcon" look like them. If you need cover scans, I can make them for you. Pm me your email-address and I'll send them to you.
By the way, is there a European version of "Thunder Blade"? I had two of them and have seen a couple of them on flea-markets here and they were all English only.
Do you have a list of the German only SMS games? I thought about making such a list, but if it already exists I would like to have it.

Yeah, that's as I suspected. Might be worth having a brief mention of them in the description for the US versions. No worries about scans if they're nothing different.
Yes, there's definitely standard Euro multi-language copies of Thunder Blade - check SMS Power for scans, if necessary.
I've got a (possibly incomplete) list of the German releases, I'll PM it to you this evening...
