Check out the online rarity guide:

You can search games by release date, so just select the system you want to search for, enter the release date for a known launch title in the "Release Date" dialog box, and hit the search button. Should get you what you need. :)

In addition, you can select "Landmarks Only?". It will bring up more then Launch titles, but it will drop the list down to make it more manageable to sort through. Almost all launch titles are listed in the Landmarks field.

You know in terms of rediscovering all my systems again, I've found that it's very entertaining to focus on the launch games first. There is just this special feeling about launch games.

It transports you back to that time when the system first launched, and when developers were having their first crack at a new generation.

For some systems, the launch games were pretty damn painfull. For other systems, spectacular. For example, PS1 has the best launch games I've ever seen. So many freaking classics in the first 4 months of the PS1.

SNES launch games were amazing too.

I agree with that, the super nes had amazing launch games,

I also really liked the launch games for the n64 even though im not a big fan of the system

I never thought of collecting just launch titles only but I think that's a cool subcollection to get. I mostly get games that I know I'm going to like or I'll go out on a limb and buy something that "looks interesting." I made the mistake ONCE of buying just about every game I could find (Game Gear) and wound up trading 3/4 of them back to the local game store I got them from.
