I'm new here so I dont know if anyone is interested in this game, but I just listed it on ebay so check it out. I only listed my auction here because digitalpress gives it a 7 for rarity and it seems somewhat hard to find on eBay, especially complete like this. So i figured maybe a collector on here needs it to fill out his collection. Anyways check it out....

Does anyone know the true rarity of this game? i am surprised its over $20 already. I thought its rarity would be closer to that of the Bible Games and maybe fetch my $20 at the most.

it hasn't been on ebay in a long time. and in that condition it's well worth it.

I just cancelled that bid of the guy from Norway, thanks for pointing that out to me. I dont care if i lose money by doing it. I used to sell stuff on my friends eBay account before i had my own and I had some really bad experiences shipping outside the US. Thats why when i made my own account a few months ago I stopped shipping outside the US. My auction clearly stated that, and people need to learn how to read.

Ye, but if you are afraid of outside US bids you can put an option on so no1 else can bid, except for the ppl who are in USA of course.
I dont know why ppl dont do this if they only ship within a coutry/continent.

Well when i used to list things on my friends account, i just used his shipping options, and I've only had my own account since April, so im not familiar with all the selling options yet. But now that you informed me of that option, i want to start using it. So if you could tell me where i select it, it would be greatly appreciated..thanks.

Short link:

http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?BuyerBlockPreferences

Not want to click the link? I don't blame you.

Go to "my ebay."
Click "preferences" under "my account".
There's a little section called "block buyers". Use that to block buyers not registered in your country.

I can understand that bad transactions can bring some stress but i have dealt with shipping abroad for some while now and nothing went wrong ever, not all eBayers are the same and most of them are very relaxed people.
The thing is that airmail is mega fast and you can even insure your package so you can track it down and see if it's going to right way.
I would be willing to pay that extra shipping for a game like this and with me there are enough others.

Suprised ? :hmm:

It should finish in the 25 - 30 dollar range if not a bit higher actually. Solitaire in that condition is well worth it. ;)

R7 and DP has it listed at 12 dollars loose.

I might toss a bid on it if it stays under 25 dollars.

Agreed. I have also done alot of buying from USA and had about 2 packages that have been lost.
So I dont know why ppl are afraid to send overseas if the buyer takes responisble for the package being lost.
As Nes-a-holic also say, you can insure the package and airmail and global priority mail are really fast! If the buyer dont want to insure it its his fault if the package get lost. Its just to make that clear to the buyer.

If you only ship within a country or a continent you block out alot of potential buyers and might get alot less money.

First of all i didnt know you could insure or track packages shipped outside the USA. That was mainly the problem I had. Because people would say they never got the item, so either it got lost, was just taking longer then expected to arrive, or they were lying. I had no way to prove anything. The other problem I would have is I dont know anything about international shipping prices. So either I'd end up taking a loss, or the buyer would end up paying much more then they had to and then complain. This is why i stopped doing it. Im just inexperienced. Everyone in here makes good points, and in the furture i probably should start shipping outside the USA, i argree with you. But since i already cancelled someones bid from Norway, it wouldnt be fair to him to start on this item. [/u]

If anyone has found a way of tracking a package shipped internationally that you won't have to take out a loan to pay for then please, share it with the rest of us.

Exactly griking, i wasnt aware either. If there is a cheap way to do it, I might change where I ship. But from what I heard, its really expensive.

If the buyer pays with paypal, you MUST provide tracking. Period. It doesn't matter if some buyer tells me that they'll take responsibility if the package is lost. They can still turn around and file a chargeback through paypal and there is nothing the seller can do unless you can show via tracking that the package was delivered. The ONLY way to send packages to other countries if the buyer pays via paypal is express mail. If the buyer pays with cash, I'll send it any method they want. But with paypal, it's only going express mail.

You can always use EMS. Sure, it cost alittle more than normal mail, but its not like you use it everyday. Maybe $25 for 2-3 NES games. I'm willing to pay that to get it secure and fast. When I buy from Japan I always use EMS.

And you can put this in the auction that international bidders must pay for EMS shipping. Problem solved :)

Indeed i agree,ScutFarkus if you have done this a couple of times you will know how much shipping will be abroad and so on.It\'s really easy once you done it a few times.

Here's a list (http://ircalc.usps.gov/intl_speed.asp?CID=10214&MailType=package&Pounds=2&Ounces=) of the shipping options that the US Post Office offers to send a 2 pound package from the US to Japan. If I ship Internationally I generally only offer the Airmail Letter Post option because it averages about a week for delivery while Surface Mail can take months in my experience.

What exactly is "EMS"?

I would like to know who offers that also griking. On another note, I actually sat and played this game for a little while last night, it was actually a pretty decent game of solitaire (as far as solitaie standards go). But i can see how it never became popular, for the fact that solitaire became available on almost every computer made since the early 90's. Maybe even earlier.

Well I'm not about to usa EMS regardless. The fact is, there is still no easy or cheap way to guarantee a person gets your package when shipping outside the USA. You are just asking for bad feedback and problems then.

Nah :) If you clearly put how much it cost to send with EMS you wont have any problem (unless there are some idiot who cant read :P) I payed nearly $100 in shipping with EMS from Japan once. Was some heavy stuff. But it was clearly written in the auction how much it cost so no problems happend. Doesnt matter to you if you send with EMS or USPS. Its still the buyer who pay for the shipping.
And EMS is guaranteed. If it should get lost you get full refund back because its insured.

Not quite sure, but if you use the calculator on USPS website it also shows EMS costs. Atleast it did when I checked.

EMS isn't available is the USA so we can't use it.

It seems that EMS is called GEM in USA. If you use the shipping calculator on USPS.com it will say:

Global Express Mail™ (EMS)
