As a sequel to the wildly popular "Make my dinner, Bitch!" that only had the one print run, Virtual Schoolmarm is certain to become an instant collectible.

~ Super Turbo Street Fighter Extra Zero Kombat II Plus Alpha - The highly acclaimed final installment of Capcom's SF series (Highly sought after due to limited print runs)

~ Marvel Vs Capcom Vs SNK Vs Sega Vs EA Vs Square-Enix - Low print runs due to Stan Lee claiming he owns 97.5% royalties

~ Resident Evil: Alpha Infinity - The final chapter in the ongoing Resi series, where the deformed offspring of Claire and Jill (Don't ask - The T virus made it so!) finally puts an end to the Umbrella Corporation...

~ Woof Woof Wee Dog Wee - Crazy Japanese import game where you have to monitor a dog's toilet habits for a day.

~ Sim Sui-Bomber - The suicide bomber simulation which was recalled as soon as it hit the shelves after an Englishman took out most of Persia with an A-bomb strapped to the inside of his thigh... (Extremely hard to find game)

So in front of me is the rarest PS3 game. It's called Biker Mice From Mars or BMFM for those of us "in the know". Now why is this game so rare? Well it's because of the VR accessory packaged with the limited pre-release 1 copy per state pre-order bonus only from the Knight's Who Say Ni. Now if that wasn't hard enough to grab it was only available in the past at the second ever "come over to my house" expo which took place in Detroit at an undisclosed location which nobody could find. I'd say it's value will be very little as it's been pirated in China already.

I just grabbed a copy of Rez 3D from eBay for the price of an Italian sports car - It comes with the ultimate gadget: A 3D VR head set and suspended bodysuit which vibrates to the game.

The bodysuit is suspended in a 360 degree rotational frame (Think back to the Lawnmower Man film) and gives you little jolts of electricity if you fail to do well. If you get a Game Over screen however, then it's Game Over for you, as the suit will give you more of a jolt than you bargained for...


Rare as the peripheral was campaigned against by human rights campaingers, and it got withdrawn from sale... Only a handful of units known to be in private collector's hands these days.

I personally think 'DOA vs. Fanboys' will be a flop and therefore rare; fanboys generally need their collective asses kicked, especially by chicks in bikinis, but everybody but they'll all be too busy dissin' the Revolution for being a kiddie console to buy it.

A real look into the future:
1) Atlus RPGs for the PS3. While not rare per se, they'll be commanding $100+ on eBay.
2) Gallop Racer 2007. Or 2006. Or Gallop Racer vs. G1 Jockey. If it's got horses, rare.
3) Strange Japanese imports. Let's say Mr. Mosquito 3.
4) Shooters released domestically, even though they're all named "Mobile Light Force 5" and priced for $9.99 in the bargain bin.
5) Madden '07, after unlockable sex minigames are found in the review copy's code. Ew. Retract that thought.

I agree with the first three, and partially with the fourth.

RPG's have the highest chance of becoming rarities. That is half the reason a lot of my current gen PS2 RPG's have stayed sealed, just in cease one day they suddenly rocket!

Just take FFVII black label sealed - See how much that has shot up... Well, I have black label versions, sealed, of both X and X2, PAL & NTSC U (Four in total, all sealed) so i'm hoping that they will rocket soon, along with the Nippon Ichi series, and Dark Chronicle Etc...


Also, don't forget puzzler's. Just a quick look back to some of the rarest PSone games (Which aren't RPG's) and they tend to mostly be puzzle games...


Also, Konami tend to limit their runs on certain games, so chances are the rarer PS3 games will be by Konami (Just look to the Snes and PSone and you will see a whole heap of Konami games in the top 10 rarest of each)


Enix have also been known to produce a few obscure rare titles, as well as Atlus.

The toprarity games will of course be:
The Suicide Bomber: Blow yourself for Allah series which will contain four different versions (for those want to know they are called Intifada, Iraq, Afghanistan and last but not least Capitalist Metropols. The serie will be extremely limited because Sony didn't want to give a license for the game as the games goal is to plan a terrorist suicide attack with as many victims as possible, also the USA decided that they would sent every owner the catch to Guantanamo Bay. Because of these bans the game is impossible to get although in some countries the game is available if you have the right contacts.

King of Fighters 1994 Re-Rebout Every version: SNK PLaymore thought the could make another upgrade to even make more profit on the KoF series. Of course they didn't miss the hype to release differnet versions of the game so you can only play one team with each disc, as nobody bought it only a handful of complete copies survived for each version, the rest was sold on a spindle without manual, but at least you got all the different versions in one package.

Other rae games will include: X-box Crusher as this game was pulled of the market after compainments of Bill Gates. He was not happy to be the evil endboss who attack the player by throwing the heavvy old X-box Japan overstock systems.

For the rest there will be some socalled rare games which you can find in high numbers on eBay, they are only expensive.
