so i got my mame cab pretty much finised, all i really need to get is the pannel for my buttons, i have the original one that it came with but i want to completely change the button layout, its a old space ace cab, so the buttons are completely wrong for what i want to do, i was wondering if anyone knew a place where i could send my specifications and a like drawing of how i want the buttons or something and get a nice pannel made for what i need : ]

sorry i tryed to find a link but couldnt find anything close

He's maming a SPACE ACE...

:(

I have a perfectly nice, well kept Dynamo cab with no heritage that I would trade for a Space Ace without blinking. I'd throw in a working JAMMA board too. :/

its a completely empty cab, it was actully converted into a ninja gaiden before i even got it then gutted and started as a mame project, so no im not massacering it, i just included taht it was so if anyone knew a site that would do custom work for that size pannel specificlly that i would go there first

sorry to freak you out : ]

Just because some else abused it before you got it doesn't mean it can't be brought back. I've seem some cabs that were completely trashed brought back to true glory.

MAME is like arcade purgatory.

it could be brought back, but teh only thing that still remotely remains that gives any clue that it was space ace was the fact that you could kinda see the original panell overlay thru the new one, and around the new holes they put in, that and the outline of the giant painted over sticker on the side. So yah it would be a rediculously huge project, that im just not really willing to commit to, mostly because of me being a broke college student. and mame is just gonna have to cut it for now until i can get a more expensive dedicated game.

DJ,

did they drill extra holes in the control panel? if not, maybe I can buy it from you to subsidize your replacement, I'm restoring a DL.

let me know! thanks!
