its probably normal electronical cleaning liqour also known as isopropanol

in sweden you can buy this in your local pharmacy but i guess a normal chemestry retailer would have it.

He said suede! Did you think he said sauce or something? LOL

I know what you're talking about... but I haven't the foggiest idea what it is. It's kind of like a combination of suede and canvas. :?

Probably not much help but the same fabric is used in some LP cleaner products.

But why bother, put some cloth on a stick and dip it in special sauce. Blows the dirt clean off.

Heh. Yup, chamois. From the French, if you hadn't guessed. I just HAD to check http://www.m-w.com... Chammy and shammy are accepted variants apparently (see below). The definitions seem pretty much chronological... I don't know if anyone else will find this interesting, and it is a bit OT, but here goes:

1 : a small goatlike antelope (Rupicapra rupicapra) of mountainous regions from southern Europe to the Caucasus
2 also cham·my or sham·my /'sha-mE/ : a soft pliant leather prepared from the skin of the chamois or from sheepskin
3 : a cotton fabric made in imitation of chamois leather
