what is that suede like material used in cleaning kits

i had a genesis and n64 cleaning kit that use this suede like cleaning material on the cleaning tools

does anyone know what this material is and if one can easily buy it ?

its probably normal electronical cleaning liqour also known as isopropanol

in sweden you can buy this in your local pharmacy but i guess a normal chemestry retailer would have it.

I know what you're talking about... but I haven't the foggiest idea what it is. It's kind of like a combination of suede and canvas. :?

Probably not much help but the same fabric is used in some LP cleaner products.

But why bother, put some cloth on a stick and dip it in special sauce. Blows the dirt clean off.

The definitions seem pretty much chronological... I don't know if anyone else will find this interesting, and it is a bit OT, but here goes:
