I was adding NES accesories to my owned/wanted lists here on DP and I came across this description at the very end of the list:

[Wooden cartridge holder; looks expensive] Unknown manufacturer

Anyone have pics or more info?

I know of only 1 wooden cartridge holder for NES games. It has square and rotates (I think) and has an image of Raccoon Mario from SMB 3 on top. The games go in the side. There is one on Ebay right now, but I couldn't find it a second ago. It isn't all that rare, probabley worth around $10 or so.

I've seen that one before. It doesn't look like it would keep the games in very well (I'd imagine one good spin and WHAM! games go flying!

Well, that has to be the point. I'm sure it's a lot more satisfying that stomping on your controller after your 499th attemp at 6-2 in Ninja Gaiden. ;)

Thanks for the info guys...I tried searching ebay and google but didn't come up with anything. I was starting to think it was a gag put in by Joe or another editor, you know trying to show off their fancy homemade shelving.
