Ok, one game, your favorite of all time on any system from any time period. I know, this is a hard one. I had posted this one on a different forum only to get a ton of “HALO 2 Rocks!!!!” answers. I thought I’d get better answers here. Just list the game and some personal thoughts and experiences with it.
[b]Final Fantasy X[b]
Trust me guys, I though long and hard about this one. There are so many games that I still love to this day but this title kept coming up again and again. I remember playing this one through back in the winter of 2002. I had been laid off for some time (Union job + post 9/11 economy = bad situation) and this game really helped me get through a rough time. I spent almost 2 weeks playing this game and it made me feel like a kid again. It removed the burden of current events and gave me a better state of mind. I had not slept much for weeks due to stress and playing this title was a form of inadvertent therapy, hell, even my wife noted the emotional change. To top it off this game is so well made, written and carried out that I feel it is the best RPG I’ve ever played. Truly Square at their best.
I know this is a cheap answer but this game will forever be remembered as relief at a time in my life where I needed it the most.
