Over the past few months I've come across 2 non-official gba game releases and I was wondering if there were any more. By non-official, I mean that there was no retail release. The two that I have are:

1. Another World
2. NiGHTS Score Attack (found on a torrent, haven't played it yet, but is supposed to be NiGHTs Into Dreams mini game from the Gamecube version of PSO).

You don't need to provide a download location or anything, I am not looking for retail gba roms, only ones that I can't purchase (or if there's a small developer that sells his roms that would be cool tool). I'm just wondering what else is out there. I suppose any homebrew games would qualify too.

NiGHTS Score Attack

Wow, really? All of the stuff I've found seems to be crusty first attempts at making homebrew games - horrible platformers and something that looked like Pong. Certainly nothing cool like the actual games you listed.

Do 99 in 1 games count or 32 in 1? I also saw some other bootleg type games wile in florida a few weeks ago.

Also found in "Billy Hatcher" on Cube

The same people behind Another World also did Airball (http://www.foxysofts.com/index.php?l=content/gba/airball.inc), Deflektor (http://www.foxysofts.com/index.php?l=content/gba/deflektor.inc) & Nebulus (http://www.foxysofts.com/index.php?l=content/gba/nebulus.inc).

As for Nights Score Attack, it was ripped from the Cube game(s) that contained it. All of the Animal Crossing NES games and various other Cube/GBA mini games have been ripped and are floating around.

There's a Puyo Pop minigame from one of Sega's GameCube titles. Not sure which.

mikeetler: thanks for the links, I'll keep an eye out for the other various mini ripped games - glad to know there's more out there.

CrimsonNugget - Thanks, I'll keep my eyes open.

For homebrews

Puzzle Dungeon (http://www.puzzledungeon.com) is a pretty good puzzle game.

As mentioned there have also been lots of conversions of classic games such as

And many more, check out http://www.pdroms.de for lots of free homebrew games.

For unreleased stuff there is a GBA version of Tyrian 2000 out there.

The GBA version of Rick Dangerous was cancelled but they did release this free xmas episode.

someone ported Chip's Challenge to the GBA, and it friggin rocks as much today as it ever has.

GBAGI is also quite nice, as with it you're able to have GBA versions of King's Quest, Manhunter, Space Quest, and Police Quest (among other games).

I'd love to see the GBA version of Chip's Challenge. That was a great puzzler, and brutally hard. It's the best of all the sokouban rip-offs.

There's a killer version of Elite available for GBA. Too bad I still can't get anywhere in that game. I really need some instructions, considering this is considered just about the best game ever made. I'm still out of the loop.

Update: Found Chip's at the freeware site listed above. I'm eager to give it a go, but I'll miss the Lynx sound effects.

I think there was a team porting super smash brothers melee to GBA, google it. I don't remember the link exactly

If I ever DO start a weblog, the first thing I'll do is bitch about you calling CC a "Sokouban rip-off"!! :P

Hey, I meant that in a good way! As in, the BEST of all the Sokouban rip-offs.

But, seriously, there should be a Russ Perry, Jr. blog. It doesn't take any time to sign up with Blogger or one of the other free places. You could post all your letters to the editor and tell stories about driving on the sidewalk. Who wouldn't love that?

Let's compromise -- "puzzle game with a couple sokoban ripoff levels".

If I had the time and ambition... I'll leave it to someone else to post pictures of the sidewalk, since I was too busy driving to take pictures myself.
