I have a really strange problem I stumbled across on eBay that hopefully someone can help me with. I ordered a DVD from a guy on eBay who has perfect 100% feedback, and has been receiving feedback since the day I've ordered from him. The only payment method he accepts is PayPal. When I chose the quick 'Buy it Now' option and went into PayPal to pay him immediately, an error occurred. The error said, "Transaction cancelled. This user can no longer accept payments" or something along those lines. So now, whenever I log into eBay, it says that I have to pay for one item - that item being the DVD. So I e-mailed the guy and said that we can either mutually agree to cancel the auction, or I can pay whenever he gets everything straightened out with PayPal or whatever. No response. It's been a few days ... I'd rather not make a big deal out of this, since I can easily get this DVD at other places online, so I guess I could complain to eBay, but my life won't end if this transaction doesn't pan out. I have no interest in negging the guy, so hopefully he won't do the same to me.
So what do you guys think I should do? Should I just ignore this until it blows over? Or do I have to complain to eBay in order to get that order cleared from my name? I'm pretty new to eBay, so I'm at a loss for what to do. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.
