Well, according to PSPupdate there is now an emulator that will emulate DS games at 1-5fps.

From PSP DOMAIN

We thought that we might update the progress of this emulator . To start off with in my original
post i stated that it was running at 15fps this is not the case i meant to say 1-5fps not 15 . The
emulator now has a battery metre and fps counter in the right place and is now running the
battleship demo for DS.

I don't approve of them emulating a system that just came out, but I'm not to worried, because most of the games won't be able to be played. However, if this can be done the N64 is possible and just in case you haven't heard they are also working on a PSX emulator.

Thats cool, I honestly don't see how it's going to work for a touch screen hand held on a non touch screen.

I'm alot more excited over a n64 emu or PSX emu.

I definitely don't think it's cool to do that, but I find it highly amusing that the PSP is powerful enought to emulate it's current competitor. We'll see if they ever increase the framerate to a decent speed or not.

I don't really see how this would ever be playable for most games since there is no touchscreen, though.

Cool, but I wouldnt say that the PSP could emulate DS. I mean, 1-5fps is unplayable. I bet any console could in theory emulate DS at 1fps.
