Has anyone bought from this site? I see quite a few things that I want from play-asia.com, but I wanted to see if anyone had done business with them before.

Top notch - never had a problem.

Only ordered from them once, but as ClubNinja said, top notch. Just remember to uncheck the box to get newsletters, I've been getting them since I ordered a year ago and haven't ever read a single one. I know, I could easily unsubscribe, but it goes to my junk box anyway.

I bought from them twice in the past year (Katamari Damacy OST and Daigasso! Band Brothers) and I'm really happy with both purchases. The CD is legit, not a pirate. Shipping is very cheap, yet very fast. Really do recommend it.

I've bought twice from them, they're very reliable. Although I got charged for customs once >(

Bought from them quite a bit lately, no problems at all. Great prices too. I'm probably going to place another order there in the next couple days in fact.

Purchased something from them (forgetting what it is ATM) but there were no problems and they are pretty spiffy peoples.

I've ordered from them twice, and while I agree that the shipping is fact and the service great, be prepared to wait ages if something is backordered. Be prepared to see other things, already in stock for your order, disappear and be shuffled off to fulfill other people's orders more quickly, and then be prepared to wait as those things are backordered as well. It can be a little frustrating, but they have a good selection and dandy prices. On the balance of it, though, any future game music CDs I order from Japan will be, whenever possible, through Amazon.co.jp.

Yeah, I've ordered from them on many occasions, and I've got Pop'n Music 11 on the way at this very moment. I'd recommend going with EMS shipping, which gets handled by USPS once it hits the USA. Their cheapest air economy shipping took a good 2 weeks for just a little Gameboy game once. Heh.

I've ordered from them more than twice. They're solid!

They're great, I love how they provide you with $5 off coupons when you receive your order.

Yes, I bought something from them at least a year ago, and everything went smoothly. I would order from them again in a heartbeat.

I've ordered from them 10+ times, and I have never had any problems with them. Recommended.

Just recieved a package from them on Monday containing a few PSP Accessories. Never any problems and I keep going back.

One of my favorite importers.

EMS is good when your spending quite a bit of money on the site. For small orders I use Airmail since the EMS shipping is 9/10 times more than the total price of my order.

Only thing I would suggest about Airmail shipping is to use the "Airmail Box" instead of the bubble mailer since it offers much better protection. It's a great idea considering it spends alot of time in transit.

I'll just add my two cents and say I've ordered from them multiple times over the past few years and I've never had a problem with them. Everything always arrived safely and in great shape.

I second using the airmail box too. I hardly trust "bubble envelopes" when I've got something traveling across the Pacific. And it varies on how long it takes. Sometimes it takes over two weeks to get my package, but I just got an order in the other day and it arrived in just about a week. Not bad.

Just throwing my 2 cents in... They rule! I've also ordered from them before and had no problems or complaints at all.

Okay, thanks guys! I always like to check with other people just to see if a site is good. I remember the hatred that surfaced long ago when I asked if Buy-Rite was a reliable site. LOL

Thanks again!

Nothing but good experiences for me, as well. Orders are shipped promptly, well-packaged, and arrive on time.

Also of note for Canadian customers - if you email their customer support after placing your order, and ask if they can declare the package as one-half its real (actual) value, they will do just that. Quite handy for dodging customs fees!

I ordered my Mushihimesama from them. Great transaction. I was satisfied that I just ordered Twinkle Star Sprites.

Let me know how Mushihimesama is. I see you have an Espgaluda avatar, great game. I just got Twinkle Star Sprites. It's very cool but just be aware that it's NOT really a sequel, it's more of a remake with new graphics and characters. Still a good purchase though.

Mushihimesama is really good. Its a little easier or less manic than the typical cave game. The music is really great too. I might consider getting the sound track. The scoring trick is pretty much keep shooting enemies so the counter keeps going up. If your not hitting an enemy then it starts to drop. Otherwise a great game! I suggest playing in manic mode over original as the arrange mode is also defult in manic mode. Ultra mode is just too insane for me!

Keeping on topic
I'm going to also be preordering Raiden III from play asia too.
